Mission:Wolf

We're on a mission to highlight the remarkable work of wolf sanctuaries and nonprofits. Why? Because we recognize the vital importance of these organizations in safeguarding not only wolves but the very essence of our wilderness. Through our newsletter, we're dedicated to sharing their stories, amplifying their impact, and rallying support for their noble cause. Join us in championing these guardians of the wild to ensure a brighter future for wolves and our planet.

Mission: Wolf is a solar-powered nature center with a mission to provide a sanctuary for unwanted captive-born wolves and horses while offering experiential education to inspire environmental stewardship. Since 1988, they've provided lifelong care for 125 wolves and 25 horses, facilitated educational experiences for over 1 million people, and preserved 400 acres of subalpine habitat.

With over 50 acres of enclosures, each wolf enjoys about 1/2 acre of space, paired with a lifelong mate for companionship. Recent repairs on their 13-acre playpen enrich the wolves' environment, and their next goal is to replace aging infrastructure over the next five years, ensuring safe and spacious enclosures for their wolves for the next two decades.

Consider supporting this sanctuary by donating, visiting the sanctuary, or becoming a wolf caretaker!
