The Wolf Mountain Nature Center

Under the leadership of Mick Hellman and his talented team, Tal and Amber Morris, Highway Wolf continues to captivate audiences and drive meaningful change through their monthly Sanctuary Spotlight Series. This month, Highway Wolf is partnering with The Wolf Mountain Nature Center in Smyrna, New York, to engage music lovers and foster support for wolf sanctuaries and wildlife nonprofits dedicated to safeguarding and nurturing North American wildlife.

The Wolf Mountain Nature Center is dedicated to promoting and supporting the well-being of wolves, coyotes, gray foxes and Arctic foxes in the wild by enhancing the lives of captive animals. Through their well-designed enclosure environments, enrichment techniques, and socialization programs, the center aims to reduce stress and improve the quality of life for these animals. Additionally, the center provides educational programs focusing on current environmental issues such as forest ecology, the effects of climate change on habitats and wildlife, and the use of clean alternative energy sources, including solar and wind power.

“I’m thrilled to highlight the efforts of The Wolf Mountain Nature Center in studying and supporting the well-being of our cousins: the Gray Wolves, Eastern Coyotes, and Gray and Arctic Foxes,” says Mick. As a native of New York, he adds, “Highway Wolf strives to embody the best qualities of wolves, dogs, and humans in both urban and wild environments.”

Highway Wolf invites music fans and animal lovers to support The Wolf Mountain Nature Center by donating, sponsoring an animal, or visiting the sanctuary.
